Historical Context

This rose window received significant damage as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Stained glass windows are inherently very strong when properly fabricated and installed into serviceable frames and maintained periodically. As the only remaining stained glass window from Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian it is a testament to the quality of the original fabrication. However in its present condition the stained glass window needs significant reconstruction to replace a majority of the lead-work, replace and repaint missing glass, and re-fabricate the entire window with new lead cames. Repairs were completed in 2010 by Pearl River Glass Studio.
